Help Deleted stuff and in need of help!

Hello, I have been a duffer. I rooted my phone to delete annoying apps that I never use and I have accidently deleted the calendar storage and my phone will not sync with my google account. Please can someone help me to get this stuff back. I have read a few threads but I do not understand what to do - sorry to be thick. All help gratefully recieved.

Install the Google Calendar.

You need to download a gapps package, remove everything except the app you need from it and flash it via your recovery, your app will be restored into your system.
Or, if you have the app already then paste it in system/app with a root explorer app and set permissions as rw-r-r-, reboot.

Hello Ayush, Thank you for the advice, but my calendar is still not working. When I open it I get the following message:
The application calendar (process com.android.calendar) has stoped unexpectedly.
Then I have to force close. Any ideas how to fix it? Again all help gratefully recieved

Did you flash the right version?
It could also be that it didn't got flashed properly and needs to be done again.
Make sure you don't miss any essential app.

Did you also install the GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk and GoogleContactsSyncAdapter.apk from the gapps zip?
