Deleting accounts

Hi guys,

I want to remove my gmail account from my phone because it is a school one and it doesnt support talk. Whenever I go to remove account it tells me that I will delete its messages, contacts and other data from my phone. The school blocks that feature and I keep getting a "Google talk authentication failed" every minute.

Can someone please tell me how to get rid of the message and will the removing account delete all of my contacts?

It will remove contacts that are synced to your gmail. Any stored locally "should" not be affected.

I would recommend getting a regular gmail account and setting it as the primary account to solve your talk problem instead.

Also on the talk settings you could uncheck the log in automatically box. That might fix it.
