Deleting all Contacts?

Has anyone ever tried to do this? I just set up my contacts in Outlook as I like them, and want to start fresh on my HTC Dream.

I am using HTC Sync.

Is there a way to delete all contacts from the device, then upload them again fresh?

Thanks!

you can reset the device to factory settings...

from the desktop
menu>settings>SD card & phone storage>Factory Reset Data

Hopefully there isn't any other data on your phone that you can't just resync and download...

I was afraid of that...

I think I will have to. There are some 749 contacts in my list. Many of them just different versions of existing (first name, last name and last name etc.).

I wanted to do the same thing as you do, deleting all the contacts. I did it on Gmail, it is so much easier, just tick all the contacts and press delete, so when your phone syn next time all the contact should be gone, or simply just sign in as an new user on the phone.
