How do I delete contacts from my contact list?

Since I don't know what device you are using, I can't give you a 100% answer. However, on my phone I just long press on a contact, and when the menu comes up, delete is one of the options. You could also try going to the contact you want to delete and opening the menu. There should be a delete option there too.
