Help Deleting Google+

Samsung11

Newbie
Isn't it possible to delete Google+ definitely from my phone? I don't use it and lately i was really shocked because i received a mail that Google+ automatically was putting photos i made/downloaded in my phone online to my Google+ account!!!!! WTF???

On my pc i deleted my Google+ account and when i try to enter my profile i get a message that the page is not available anymore BUT... a few minutes ago i received(on my phone) a message that Google+ updated itself???? How is this possible and how do i get rid of it???

You'd have to root your phone in order to get rid of it. Check under your settings in Google+ to see if you can do anything about the uploading problem.

Once your phone is running an android version above 4.0 (ICS) you can disable preinstalled apps. Wait for the jelly bean update and then you can disable it. This is almost the same as uninstalling, but it keeps some memory available for the app.

Or you have to root your phone.

Normally on the 28th of April. I think you will be notificated automatically, but you can check manually for updates in settings-->about phone-->software update.

Het zal nog wachten zijn vrees ik.

And to continue in English, only Russia and India have received the jelly bean update. I hope other countries will follow soon. The 28th seems to be true, but just not for our country yet.
