Root Deleting Stock Apps

soarndt

Lurker
I seem to have root access, I downloaded "Quick Boot" which supposedly only works with root access and it works. Anyway, I can't delete stock apps and I'm starting to get really, really irritated. Please help.

The new 2.2 Froyo update is available for the Acclaim. It allows you to delete stock apps.

No, it doesn't. I got the Froyo update the day it came out, and I still had to root to be able to delete the stock apps.
