Desktop clock

Just upgraded to a HTC one m8. It doesn't have a desktop clock. My old phone had one that I used when away from home. I'm looking for a simple clock to display when charging at night. No frills,just a plain clock. Thanks for any suggestions.

If you mean a clock widget for your home screen, you probably already a few that you just need to add to a home screen. There are tons of third party clock/weather widgets if you just search for "clock widget" in the Play Store.

ClockQ - has some fun looking premade templates
DashClock Widget was made by a Google engineer and is the ideal "stock" clock widget

You could also install UCCW or Zooper Widget Pro which allow you to make your own custom widget, or add other users widgets which can usually be found in the Play Store for a couple bucks.

I don't have the clock option under daydream, just colors and google photos. Is the clock option suppose to be there?

You could get an app that gives youba clock daydream. Dashclock and Timely are examples
