Hi, I have opened the CNN site, added to the homescreen as per the dropdown menu, but, the icon is showing as grey. Not the CNN logo. It does however show as the CNN logo if I use the CNN app. But I don't like the format of the tablet version. Is it possible to change the icon?
Thanks, T.

When you say you "opened the CNN site" does that mean from a browser? If so you are seeing a web bookmark icon and not the app. If that's what you want, then you may be able to change the icon by long pressing it on your home screen. That should bring up options available for the shortcut. If 'edit' isn't one of them, your launcher probably doesn't support it.

If it's important enough you can look into using an alternate launcher that does allow changing icons. Nova or Apex come to mind. :)

A "long press" just allows me to "move" or "delete" the icon. Will look into the launchers. Thx
