Desktop Visualizer - alternative?

hi all and a happy new year!

i wanted to customize my desktop and have used the excellent desktop visualizer app in the past. however, it was a while ago since i last downloaded it off the market. I notice that since the latest update the developer has removed some features (which he is now charging for in other add-on apps) and has added adverts to the main app

I would gladly pay for a version of this app, as many people have commented on the market place comments. but i dont want ads.

Does anyone know of a similar app to this one?

Did you check the new app if there is a "remove ads" option. Most often, apps like these (went from free to with ads and add ons) have that kind of option.

i dont believe there is that option. there are plenty of people on the comments complaining about it all.

i have the old version on my phone so im trying to find a way to get the apk file off that onto my new tablet.

You can run Titanium or My Backup Pro, or App Backup Restore, they backup the apks of apps.
