There's Mystery Gallery Homicide, which is a Korean game. Some like it, some don't.

Just to add, I came across Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde a few days ago. There's a demo and paid version. It doesn't look too dark, has nice graphics, though may be a bit laggy.
