Apps Developers for Samsung Galaxy S

I'd really like to know if anyone out there has successfully tested an app they developed on a Samsung Galaxy S.

I've got most of the balls lined up (eclipse+SDK+ADK+etc) but I am struggling to get the USB drivers working (phone never responds to 'adb devices').

I've been reading up and trying everything I find for days now, so at this stage just to know it's possible on the SGS would be very helpful.

Hi,

i've got a US Cellular Mesmerize version of the Galaxy S. I'm still having problems getting my phone recognized by Eclipse (eclipse+SDK+ADK+etc) or AppInventor.

i've also installed Kies Mini.

when i plug my phone in (after turning on USB debugging) Windows XP gives the message: cannot install this hardware: Samsung Android Composite ADB Interface.

i thought i had properly installed the drivers, but now i'm unsure what to try.

Any thoughts?
