Apps Developing a cast app for devices that don't use chromecast

I want to develop an app that I can cast on my TV screen. I have a Samsung Smart TV which already has the ability to cast apps like youtube, netflix, etc. I also have a Roku Player which lets me cast youtube, Netflix, etc on TV as well. I'm trying to learn develop an app that won't require a chromecast device to cast my app. I've been looking around the web for a week now, but the only thing I can find is google-cast SDK which uses chromecast. My goal is to not use any device like chromecast or any other casting device for casting. If anyone can help me out with how to develop cast applications for samsung smart tv or roku player I would really appreciate that.
