Apps Developing customized eBook application in Android

Hello All,

I want to develop my own customized eBook Reader application in Android.
As we know FBReaderJ is the Android eBook Reader application. But I do not want use that, as I have own User Interface concept.

My source data will XML file not the .ePub format file. Or even if I use the .ePub file, can I use the FBReaderJ library to link and show it in customized view as I like ?

Please give some idea if you have already some experience or other idea.
