So, I've been locked out of my galaxy s5 since Friday afternoon. Android device manager is able to 'ring' my phone, but when I got to set a new password it says "google has verified that a password is already set on your phone so the new password is not needed". This is both puzzling and irritating to me. I also receive the optional recovery message I set, but again, it won't let me set a new password. What can I do? What's going on? I really don't want to reset my phone
