Every time I attempt to unlock my phone in the "Device Unlock" app I get this message. I even called MetroPCS up and they initiated the unlocking process for me, told me to restart the phone and still getting the same message and did a couple of other things with the live chat agents and none of them were able to help me get this resolved. According to the troubleshooting on the MetroPCS website, it's caused by rooting the phone, however I un-rooted it and sent it in for repair, because the rear camera stopped working due to a flash memory issue, so I got my same device back fixed, and since they flashed the firmware on it there was no root for sure. I was getting this message before I sent it in for repair, but I don't know why it's still happening after the phone has been cleaned up. Could it be that rooting the phone disabled the IMEI from the server?
