Device Protection Service, yay or nay?

I'm about to purchase a phone from wirefly and they have what is called a Device Protection Service for 6 dollars a month. Should I get it? It seems better than the protection that Metro offers, but I don't know. It says that there is no deductible but it also says neglectful loss of your phone is not covered  Any tips, thanks.

For that amount, I'd get the Metro one. It's $1 less a month and I've heard nothing but good about it. I think it's through Assurion which is the biggest phone insurance company. I just checked the Metro website and I Didn't Know that you only have 24 hrs from when you activate the phone to get the protection though so don't dally about.

My phone protection is a 6 week old LG Motion that I have about $95 into. :p

Yea I read that it was a scam the thing Wirefly offered. Are you sure it's only a dollar a month? I thought it was like 5 dollars a month for insurance. How do they figure out the deductible on a phone? Like does insurance cover lost phones?

He said $1 less but I'll go look for the deductible chart, hold up.

It's not a scam, it is Device Protection that we offer. You can read all about it here: Device Protection Made Easy | No Deductible | Wirefly Online This does not cover neglient loss nor does it cover water damage. There is no deductible. Let me know if you have any other questions.... I am happy to answer them for you. :)

hmmm wirelfy got their own account on af cool and welcome :D anyways pro and cons lets start out with pros no deductible nice :D while metro charges $130 deductible for the gs3.

cons ya dont cover lost/stolen phones nor do you guys cover water damaged phones.

off the record ive never had a phone stolen nor lost but cant speak the same for the rest of you guys lol in my opinion that $1 more actually is a pretty good deal for me but for some they just cant help txting near the toilet nor leaving their phone unattended anyways good stuff.
