Device without softkeys?

Hi, Was showing my 66 year-old mother my Droid v1 and she kept hitting the softkeys and I said yeah I think they make a model now where the keys are not so easy to hit accidentally, which has blown off countless email compositions and interrupted other tasks.

Is there such a model for Verizon yet?
