Yep the screen is cracked.

So I looked up how to replace the screen and digitizer and I'm finding the prices between $200-225. Motorola gave us an estimate of $180 to fix it.

Should we just have Moto fix it?

Still cheaper than a new phone I guess!

Do you not have insurance on the phone? You could always go that route. I think it is a $100.00 deductible. Maybe $150.00 but still cheaper than either of the options you have listed.
