Dialers?

I have a OnePlus One and not at all keen on the Cyanogen dialer.

I've installed exDialer and its great for contacts look up and outgoing calls, but resorts to using the standard dialer on incoming calls...! I cannot find an option to change this to exDialer.

Can this be overidden so it always defaults to my preferred dialer?

Are you asking if you can replace the default dialler once the call has been connected? If so, then I do not believe there is a way. Generally, third party diallers only work when you are not on a call. Once the call is connected, it always reverts to the default dialler for things like entering DTMF tones. The default dialler also has controls for speaker phone and BT headsets. I looked earlier this year for a solution for my Galaxy S3, but could not find one.
