Help Dialpad does not work while on a call

Dialpad does not work while on a call. Thus unable to access voicemail. This started happening 2 days ago, I did a factory reset as per other posts to no avail. Also removed battery after reset, still same result.

You should highly considering updating your phone. In order to do that you would need to install PC Companion from Sony on a Windows computer and run the update for the phone.

But...when you move the phone away from your face, does the keypad light up allowing you to click the keypad button.

If the phone doesn't change, do you have a case or screen protector on the phone? It may be covering the proximity sensor on the phone.

Have you tried removing the case and try to use the dialpad?
