Did Anyone See This Today?

yeah I saw that. Just makes ya sick doesn't it? Seems like anyone who has an HTC device can get 2.1 but the bastard step children of the Eris. LOL
 
I was pissed when I read this. I got my Eris because my last windows phone sucked so bad and I was excited for the Android OS. Now the sucky windows phones can get 2.1 but my Eris can't.
 
If they have enough time to make 2.1 available for WinMo phones, think we should put them to work on getting it on the Eris for us? They seem to have a knack for getting it up and running on other HTC phones.

I expect to see a post from acidbath stating that root has been achieved on the Eris and then a retraction with, "Nevermind, we thought we had Eris root but instead we accidentally achieved world peace...back to square one on rooting the Eris." :D
