.API? Unclear what you are referring to -- a .API file, or an Application Programming Interface?

.APK Stands for Android Package and is a specific collection of bytecode and resources designed to be run by Android's Dalvik Virtual Machine -- Dalvik is an executable process that runs in Linux to "host" the Android apps.

No worries :D

Awhile ago RIM announced they were gonna support Android apps by their own VM (their own 'Dalvik')

But so far there hasn't been much more news about it. So I am unsure if they will follow through. I hope they do though :)

I would think that it would happen for ICS (if it were to happen at all) because ICS is around the corner. But WINE on Android would be rather insane. I'm just worried about system resources, because Windows apps are not shy about taking them.
