Help Differences between postpaid and prepaid

I believe so. A prepaid plan means you pay for the data you plan to use for a month upfront. Postpaid means you get an invoice at the end of the month showing your usage and any additional charges. There was a big, big difference back when all carriers were subsidizing your phone purchases and locked you into a two-year plan. I don't think any carrier does that anymore. It all started changing around 2012/2013 or so...

And, admittedly going to the way way back machine, the post-paid accounts get cell tower usage priority. Also, I believe some prepaid plans don't utilize all the roaming/other carrier agreement towers. You may not get the exact same coverage as someone on post-paid Verizon. It used to be that way anyway...

That being said (guessed), a friend is on Verizon prepay and has zero issues. He just pays less.
