Different PRL

Just wondering. I've been messing around with different PRL's just to get better coverage. I keep reading that 9033 or 3033 let you roam on Sprint, but I have not seen that. I put a Verizon PRL and get decent data but no call. I'm using Sprint PRL 11119 and get better coverage. I still get 4g on both.
Now my questions are;
1) Is there a way to switch PRL on the phone like the EVO ##775?
2) Why am I not roaming with the Metro PRLs?
3) Will Metro know I'm using other PRLs and what will they do?
4) What about combining Metro and Sprint PRLs?

Thanks

On metro phones if your in an extended home area(roaming on Sprint) the network will still show up as MetroPCS only if your in neither a metro area or a extended home area will your phone show roaming, since you'll be on TravelTalk( Verizon ). If they find you using another carriers PRL they'll just cancel you and blacklist your phone since your violating the Terms of Service

There is a place I know that there is no Metro service and there is Sprint. So I never roam there, just no (Metro) service. On the map it shows as an extended area, but no service. This morning I went there with my Sprint PRL and it works. That's why I wonder about the "roaming" I should be getting with Metro.

Dammit:rolleyes: How would they find out?

Sprint bills them
Off-net Usage. ---------Services & Plans are designed for you to use your service each month predominantly using our networks. If your minutes of use, text messaging or data usage are not predominantly on our network ("off-net usage") excessive, abnormally high, or cause MetroPCS to incur too much cost, MetroPCS may, at its option & sole discretion, terminate your service, deny your continued use of other carriers' coverage, or change your Plan. MetroPCS will provide you in advance notice that it intends to take any of the above actions.

OK, then I'll change it when I get home.:p That's why I wanted to know if there was a way to change it like the EVO's EPST.:D That way, when I need Sprint, I can do it on the spot without a computer.
Any idea why I don't roam? All my settings are set up for it, but like I said there are places I know Sprint works but I have no service.:confused:

Hmmm maybe Sprint's doing some NV tower work and are limiting roaming to help capacity

What I know for sure is that the Bakersfield market sucks pretty much across the board. The Metro towers here don't get good 3g and when i used to have my EVO on Metro, I could never get 3g, just 1x. So it might just be because I live in this hell hole.:rolleyes:

Ehhh could be that too.
If its a border line between metro signal and extended home that would be why.
