I just got a new phone (Sony Xperia XZ1-C running Android 8.0) and it looks like I can set individual ringtones for contacts but the ringtone will be the same for calls and text messages.
Previous phones would let me open a contact and specify a ringtone for a call and a ringtone for a text.
(1) Is that something that went away in Android 8.0?
(2) Is it some special tailoring by Sony?
(3) Is there an app that would restore that function?
