Different sounds for texts / email

Is there a way to assign different sounds for the text / email? When my phone rings I want to know the difference.

SMS > Menu > Settings > Choose ringtone

Gmail > menu > Settings > so-and-so@gmail.com > Ringtone and vibrate

Samsung email client > menu > Settings > so-and-so@whatever.com > Select ringtone.

My favourite thing for text notification is voice notification though I can't remember how I activated it! So when I get a text it will say "Message received from (name of person)".
