Digital Copies and the Galaxy S II Skyrocket

Gunshin

Lurker
I am new to android and I have several Digital copy movies that say you can easily copy to your favorite mobile device. Well when I download them to PC and they try to move them over this is not the case. I know I can download a converter to strip the DRM, is this the only way? I was told I can get my windows media player to sync with my device bur so far I cannot get it to recognize my phone as a device to sync with. So am i doing something wrong or do i need to get a converter? And if so which would be recommended?

Did you install the phone's drivers? If the computer is not recognizing the phone, it's likely due to you not installing the proper drivers. Check your device subforum or your OEM's website for details.

No I have the drivers installed. My computer recognizes my phone as a hard drive, just not as a device it can sync with.

Go to menu>settings>wireless and network>usb settings>you should be in Kies mode or Media mode to be able to "sync" with media programs on your PC.

Or you could use WinAmp which has the ability to sync music data into mass storage devices.
