Dilemma..S3 vs Note 2, which do I get?

Hey guys, I am currently up for an upgrade on Verizon. I have been trying to decide between the S3 and the Note 2. I have played around with both and really like both. I am leaning towards the Note 2, that huge display is beautiful. However, i am a little worried that it may be a bit too large for me. Does anyone have any issues with size? Especially once you have a case on?

Secondly, there is quite price difference in these two phones right now. I am finding the S3 for as low as $29.99 for an upgrade. I cannot however find the Note 2 for less than $199 anywhere. Has anyone bought the Note 2 anywhere recently for less than $199? Anybody know where I can currently find one for less than $199.

This ia huge price difference and may just be the deciding factor. I am having a hard time justifying getting the Note 2 if I can get the S3 for $29.99. What do you guys think?

I've had the Note 2 for a couple weeks. I was initially waiting for the S4, but after not being overly wowed by the specs in comparison and wanting to ditch my old phone, I opted for the Note 2. I love it, every other phone seems teeny tiny to me now. I even went with the screen protectors Verizon had as a temporary measure at worst, but I've been pleased with them. I just got a few cases from Boxwave and I really don't think the phone is that big, considering. My only advice is to pick the phone up, hold it to your face like a phone call. If it feels uncomfortable, go with the smaller one.
 
I would think the s3 shouldn't even be considered with the s4 coming out so soon. I'd hit had to choose between the note 2 and the s3, though, I would definitely go with the note. Of course, the people on this forum might be a wee bit biased in favor of the note;)
 
Thanks for the feedback guys....checked Sams they have it for $198. Was at Best Buy yesterday and they told me they won't price match, contrary to everything I've seen on here. Still undecided on what to do. I just can't pull the trigger.
 
I know the feeling. I say wait for the S4. How long until your next upgrade? If you're okay with the size of the Note, I'd say that's your best option. I know the S3 is tempting given the price difference, but consider how long it will be before your next upgrade. There's a reason the S3's are getting less expensive.

Bear in mind that I haven't used any of these phones other than in the store and out with friends.
