Anybody know how you get the appointments to show on the home screen as in the demo shots?

I read that it needs to be native in the Google Calendar and have a reminder on it. I've just created a test one for 30mins away and all that happened was that I got the calendar notification up on the lock screen and nothing on the home screen

Long press on the homescreen clock to get the preferences for it, then make sure calendar events are enabled.

To be honest it's too restrictive to be much use to me, but that plus the event being no more than 30 minutes away seems to be enough on my phone (I just tested and it didn't show when it was 40 minutes away).

Odd, I have that enabled and doesn't show. The event settings were as shown

Hmm, I just tested creating an event only 7 minutes into the future and it immediately appeared on the At A Glance widget.

Do you have multiple native calendars? My understanding is that it only works with events in your "primary" calendar.

To be honest it's this restriction that makes it useless to me: my calendar organisation is much more complex than that, so it doesn't meet my needs.

Not sure if there has been an update on this but I've just noticed that my phone is now showing travel time to home
