disable autocorrect

My springboard tablet changes capitalization and automatically changes words to something else,...ex. my name is D'Orazio and it changes it to doorstop!....very frustrating...its an Android galaxy 2, it keeps changing the Roman numerals!

Not familiar with tablets, but try going to settings > Language & Keyboard > Disable auto correct. Let me know how it goes.
