disable car mode

first gen evo, sprint, rooted, cyanogen mod 9 and android 4.04. phone goes into car mode all by itself and screen rotates even though i have it disabled....help

Check the usb port (or any docking connectors, if that phone has them), and make sure that there is nothing in there that might be shorting out and hence making the phone think it is in car mode.
