Disable location following-google?

I thought I disabled this annoying notification .

So I'm traveling around and stop at McDonald's.

I get this notification "are you at McDonald's"

How or where so I disable this?

Thanks

You stated you 'disabled the notification' but did you actually disable 'Location' (turning off GPS)?
Also if you've previously used McDonald's WiFi and left your phone's WiFi enabled it would have sensed your presence that way too.

Mmm don't think I used it. There are so many privacy settings in all these different Google specific apps. :(

Are they all located in one area?

Hmm as for GPS...don't I need this for Google maps to work?

Thanks

It's not that many really, by temporarily disabling two items, 'Wi-Fi' and 'Locations', that will stop your phone from automatically connecting to any previous WiFi networks you might have had set up, and disable GPS. Enable both again later,or when needed. On my phone, the upper Task Manager bar has icons for both, so it only takes a few seconds to enable/disable those different services.
