Disable Physical key

Hi guys, i own a Motorola Milestone (Droid), last friday, it has been covered with water.

I dried it and now, it's almost working perfectly except the volume down physical key seems to be stuck.

It's very annoying, so i made a few searches to find a way to disable the volume button but found nothing.

My phone is rooted, do you know if there is a way to do this with an apk or adb shell?

Ok I did it by editing files in /system/usr/keylayout/ and commenting the lines correponding to the volume button with a #.
