Disable Power button

I have a S6 with Marshmallow that is not rooted and I'm looking for a way to disable the power button so it is impossible to turn the phone off. My reason is we have a phone thief at work. He has stolen 4 android phones in the last 3 days. I have no idea what this punk is doing with them but he is smart enough to power them off so they cannot be tracked. I have "Where is my droid" installed but it obviously won't work if the phone is off. I also have Tasker (one of my FAVORITE apps!) that I have been playing with but cannot find a way for it to do what I want either.

The perfect goal would be the user would have to input a pin or fingerprint to completely shut down the phone. This of coarse would only work if the phone is one where the battery cannot be removed, which the S6 is.

Any help would be great!

I don't believe that is possible (not unrooted at least). Hopefully, others will chime in if I'm mistaken.

I doubt you will find such a way as it would be impossible to enter basic functions such as recovery mode. You have a device which is fingerprint protected and password protected so it's pretty secure. But let's say they opened the phone, you can stop it being flashed again by enabling FRP lock. Unlike ADM which doesn't work if location services are switched off you can enable it via your Samsung account which is where you can set FRP
