Help Disable Viber persistent notification

I have Viber installed and in notification area there is a viber notification saying:

"Viber
Return to"

And i cant disable it in settings! Its so anoying! If i disable notifications for Viber then i wont get any notifications about new messages! And i want just that persistent notification gone!
Any help?

Hello! I know this is a long shot, but have you found any solution on this? The same notification just appeared on my phone, and I have the same problem... Thanks in advance!

The only way I was able to remove it (on Samsung Galaxy A32 running Android 12) was by deselecting "Show Viber Status Icon".
Go to Viber settings -> General -> Show Viber status icon (uncheck if it is checked)
