Disable "Your data is turned off" message?

I just upgraded from a Galaxy S7 (Verizon) to an S9. When I turn the phone on, I get a message that "Your data is turned off". There was a way to disable this message on the S7 by acutually turning it on but reducing the "Data Set" to Zero. I cannot find the "Data Set" setting on the S9. Can anyone help with getting this annoying message turned off since I only want to use WiFi for internet connection.

Navigate to Settings, and then search for and select Data usage. Touch Billing cycle and data warning, and use the Data Limit setting.

There it is! Thanks, kate. I'll see if changing this setting does the trick.

I have the same question as Op. The instructions linked will apparently turn off a warning that you have used too much data, but it won't turn off the silly warning that your data is off.

See here where I show the data useage warning is turned off, but the data off warning appears as soon as I turn off data, and cannot be removed

Yes, me too. That did what electricpete said and the "data is off" message still has to be dealt with every time I turn my phone on. Yes, it's only tapping 'ok' but it's annoying.

Interesting fact . If I turn data off and then reboot, the notification goes away until the next time I turn data (on and then) off.
