Help Disabling Google Now Shortcut

All,
How can I disable the long Home key press shortcut for Google Now? I own a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active on AT&T. Ever since the update I have been having trouble with it popping up every time I press the home key. Before the update I never once experienced this. Is there any way to disable this feature? I have had no luck so far.

I'm not 100% sure that it will work with the long-press trigger (versus the swipe-up trigger), but you could maybe try Swipeup Utility - which can disable the Google Now quick launch entirely or reassign the action to something more useful.
