The other day I noticed that my Evernote icon was missing from my phone. I checked in the app drawer and it was missing from there as well. I went to Google Play to re-download Evernote but the download just hung and I eventually gave up.
I Googled the issue and found a thread that said the "missing" Evernote app could be found in my settings - applications under com.evernote and that you needed to move the app from the SD card to your phone to fix the problem.
I did find com.evernote in my applications settings (along with two other missing apps) and tried to move it to the phone. That was unsuccessful. I then tried to delete it, which was also unsuccessful. I also tried deleting the file in Astro but it still shows up as com.evernote in my application settings.
Now I feel like I'm in limbo. Although I cannot fix or uninstall the app, I also cannot download a new version of Evernote until this issue is resolved.
