Hey all,
I'm thinking of creating my own version of the stylus made by the joy factory. Here's a link to the stylus: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N1BRWLA/.
The description says The Stylus is 100% compatible with all capacitive touchscreen devices;Apple, Android and Windows Smartphone's and 5V Tablet; (Compatible with Apple iPad 1 and 2, ipad air, iPad Mini, iPad Pro, iPhone, iPod, Kindle Fire, Kindle Touch, Motorola Xoom Tablet, Samsung Galaxy, and Blackberry Playbook Virtuoso Touch).
Does anyone know how its doing this? I'm guessing there's a winding further up the stylus that's connected to a small signal generator that generates the same frequency as a human finger. I'm not completely sure if this is accurate though, since the em field seems like it might be coming from the tip itself and not the winding.
Any help ?
