Display only wallpaper image

I'm a new Android user (smartphone of any kind really) using a Samsung Infuse. Literally just got it. Probably already covered, so please point me in the right direction. I was wondering if I can display the wallpaper without having all the apps displayed over it. Just the wallpaper image would be displayed. Similar to the tarantula wallpaper seen in that commercial (love that commercial). Nothing else is displayed. Thanks.

Yes you can do that. I think the easiest way is to pick the wallpaper you want and set it as such.

Then when your on the home screen touch and hold each individual app and widget until you can drag them around. Then drag them into the recycle bin.

Dont worry this will only get rid of the shortcut on the homescreen. You should then have a nice clean homescreen.

Hope that helps.

If I understand you correctly, then yes. Simply press and hold on an icon or widget until a trash can shows up at the bottom of the screen. Drag anything you don't want to show there. This doesn't delete anything. It's just like removing shortcuts on your computer.

Hope this helps.

Edit: DAMN, I type slowly! :o
