Display timing out

Is there another setting in missing here. I've set the screen timer to 30 minutes and the screen still don't out under 1 second. Anyone else having the same problem

So the screen time out is ignoring what you've actually set, and is doing its own thing? I've seen that problem on Oppo phones, and it was a firmware bug that was subsequently fixed with an OTA update. So I guess ZTE would need to push a bug-fix OTA update for it.

Well I actually just rooted the phone using the unofficial LineageOS, it's gotta be part of the settings in the os. But where it's at I can't figure it out. I've installed Tasker to see if I could just create a new display timeout but that's still unhelpful, since it still continues to timeout. Only thing I haven't tried to see if the control panel widget that controls basic functions of the phone yet. But I guess once I've figured out how to stop the automatic time I'll let anyone who cares know.

That's odd. I too have lineage ROM without timeout bug. Although I downloaded Armando's two other ROMs (resurrection and aosp extended) for this device "with" the timeout bugs. Someone will have to make specific changes in the terminal command.

This timeout thing is really starting to trigger my manic side. In about the slam this phone into the ground from how it keeps doing this ****ing dumb crap. I can't even trigger the assistant to even do a dang search before it times out!

Who was it to put caffeine in the pull down tab to control display timers?!

Anyways, everyone or anyone that is having the issue with the screen dimming out then shutting off, I found the fix to this dilemma. If you use the pull down menu you can find the icon that looks like a coffee mug and press it a couple a times to vary the times you would like the screen to stay on. Great idea naming something so easily skipped over. Especially if you have no clue as to what caffeine is.
