Help Display turns on reacting to movement

I have a Motorola moto g50 (XT2137-1). If the phone is on my table, and I move the table a little bit, the phone display turns on. So it reacts to the movement. How can I shut down this feature? It seems like a bad thing for the battery power.

That's a moto feature that I believe is called Peek Display. It allows you to get a quick view of notifications, music or videos playing, and other info without having to touch your phone. This feature is actually really good well implemented.

This barely uses any battery and has been efficient on all my moto phones.

To turn it off, open the moto app that comes preinstalled and look for Peek Display and disable it.
