Dispplay settings change via pc

Hi

not sure i am in the correct area but i got a new Android mx tv box for chrimbo and i was working and the screen was to big so i tried to change the input from automatic to a setting and now the tv comes with mode not supported is there away to go into the box and change it back i would but the tv can display the picture now. can i maybe do it via the pc

update

I managed to connect the Android MX box via the AV Cables the quality of picture is rubbish but i still cant changew the HDMI settings the Auto Detect is set to off and i cant turn it on??? and if i plug the HDMI wire in the tv still says unsupported format.
