Do all apps work with WiFi only?

Hello All,
I'm sure this has been answered but all the threads i've read are about using the internet overseas or don't specifically state whether or not all the Apps will work without a data plan through WiFi. I have WiFi access at work/school/home and am going to buy Copilot live so that I have offline maps, so I don't feel the need to get data since it is so expensive. Before I commit to picking up a used G1 I just want to confirm that all apps work without a dataplan as long as i'm connected via WiFi.

I've never noticed any apps that don't work on WiFi and I don't see why there would be any.. there is one problem though. You have to set up your phone and connect to your gmail account before you ever have a chance to turn on WiFi. There are ways to get around this but from what I understand, it's not exactly easy.

Thanks, just wanted to double check as a lot of the Blackberry apps require data. I've seen a couple articles about using the WiFi to set up the phone, but I was hoping a used phone would be easier haha I guess i'll take a look into it.
