Do anybody else's apps appear to be a lot smaller now?

Sine the 2.2 update, my phone says Angry Birds is ridiculously small, like 1.89mb or something. It runs fine though. Same for other apps.

Is there an easy way to see exactly how much internal storage is taken/available?

That is odd I will look into it on the wife's phone and see what I can find out. Anything interesting you find can you post in the 2.2 thread. Also which intercept do you have VM or Sprint?

Sprint, you asked in response to one of my other posts earlier. :p

Which 2.2 thread?

BTW, most/all my apps seem smaller now, cept for maybe Tiger Arcade. I went to find big stuff to move to the SD card to try out app2sd, and everything's so small it seems hardly worth it. lolirony.

Did you reapply your apps all via titanium back up. I thought I read that somewhere. Or did you reinstall from a fresh download on the market?

I was having issues so hard reset after the update, and downloaded all my apps fresh from the market, and I have the same thing. The market says Angry Birds is something like 14 MB, but on my "manage apps", it shows 1.89. My largest apps are now Weatherbug, and mail apps, at around 6 MB. But I wonder if something is in the background on these newly tiny apps, since I moved everything I could to SD and still have 120MB of space taken on the phone according to my task manager, even though I don't have anywhere near that much space taken with apps that can't move to SD.

Something else I noticed, a bunch of my apps aren't recognized as being "Installed" by the market, and it gives me the opportunity to install them as if they're not there. This is going to be a headache in regards to knowing when an app has been updated. This is after restoring post-2.2 with My Backup.
