Do Apps Auto Update (i.e) Opera Mini?

I was just wondering whether Apps auto update once a new version is released?

I *don't think they do, I always use appbrain, which picks up updates, and streamlines the whole process.

I know that they don't.

I use aTrackDog to monitor my apps for new versions, and selectively upgrade what I feel is necessary (I also keep a backup if it turns out that the newer version is somehow worse).

Cool, thanks for the heads-up guys : ) Shame they don't auto update automatically though. Especially Opera.

Just download aTrackDog.. it's free from the market. It scans and tells you if an app has been updated and allows you to update it from the Market or direct from the Developer. They also have an app that will scan saved apps on your SD card and update them as well.

The next version of Android, Froyo, will have the feature to auto update. Right now they do not auto update, unless you use an app to handle it.
