Do fries go with that shake?

It depends on where you are in the EU. In the UK we say "chips", and what we call "crisps" are what you call "chips". In Belgium or France they say "frites", which is actually where the US "fries" comes from. Despite the name "French fries" the Belgians probably have a better claim to inventing them.

In fact "chips" (in the UK sense) are different from frites: they are much thicker cut.

I've never been remotely tempted to try a hamburger chain milk shake.

It's fattier than milk (even whole milk), and the shakes produced by the chains just seem very industrial to me. They don't really appeal.

That said, the bland patties in limp, sugary bread that the big chains sell as burgers don't appeal much to me either. I think I've eaten in McDonald's once in the last 20 years, and it was just as dull as I remembered.

It is quite dismal, and never really appealed to me. But tastes vary I suppose.

I believe that the milk from the Thala-Siren is best for dipping fries, Luke Skywalker can confirm this..

At first glance it took me back to the day when guys stood around and watched a female walked by and utter do fries come with that shake looking at her jiggly behind. But seeing that you was actually talking about an actual dairy product and not the way a female anatomy jiggles. I should have added that I'm lactose intolerant but I do enjoy chips crisp or whatever that one wants to call it. And yes I love fried potatoes
