I recently uploaded an app and published it on the Google Play Developer Console. I now want to update the app but when I try to export from Eclipse it can't find the keystore. As the keystore was created with the same file name I used to export the app I fear that the app's apk file may have overwritten the keystore. Is this possible?
Of course the developer console doesn't let me update with an app signed using a different keystore. So, is the only way round this to create a new keystore, change the package name of the app, and upload it as a completely new application to the developer console, and just leave the old one there forever unpublished?
Thank you very much for any help you can give.
