Do I need to do anything after switching from Verizon to AT&T?

I just signed with AT&T from Verizon. I was doing month to month. I signed up and ported my number. Do I need to do anything else on the Verizon end of things or will they just send me my last bill?
 
Verizon will bill you. Porting out (you ported out of V and into A) terminates the account you port out of.

All you have to do is pay the bill and enjoy probably not any better service. (They both have excellent coverage and terrible customer service.)
 
Porting canceled your Verizon service - hopefully they will prorate your last months bill so it will be less then usual, if not you will be charged for the entire month.

Good for them? I always assume bad customer service with any company. Not a concern.
