Do image thumbnails appear in order they've been viewed?

I'm new here. Hello! This may seem like a simple question but I've searched for the answer and I can't find it anywhere online!

I was wondering if, in the really old versions of Samsung (8 years old) the image thumbnails that are automatically saved in the DCIM > thumbnail folder - are these saved in the order they have been downloaded / viewed?

If so can you site a place that offers proof of this? Or do you just know?

You can always tick the thumbnail and check mm/dd/yyyy and resolution in detail of when the image was made\ logged to your device or whomever device it was originally logged on.
